BUSSER/FOOD RUNNERS

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Busser/Food Runners are integral part of our Food and Beverage Operation. Staffing the Clubhouse you are responsible for assisting in setting and clearing eating areas, serving our members and guests, stocking related fridges, providing the finest in service and attending to our members. This position is an integral part of the service we strive to deliver at The Pulpit Club.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing the coffee station by brewing fresh coffee and ensuring it is adequately stocked
• Stock service fridge with milk, cream, butter, etc.
• Prepare bread baskets
• Stocking the clearing and service stations as well as the linen cabinet
• Monitor and maintain tables in support of server.
• Continually wipe down work areas.
• Assist in delivering food orders when required.
• During turnover of table, ensure reset is completed quickly and discretely.
• Serve our Members and Guests in a timely manner
• Pouring and preparing all non-alcoholic beverages for the Service Staff as ordered
• Assist in set up of functions and tournaments

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to provide the finest in customer service
• Be fully flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Completion of grade 11 or higher preferred
• Quality interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly
• Previous experience is an asset
• Smart Serve certification is an asset

Pay Range: $17.60 per hour
Hours of Work: 25 - 40 hours per week
Work Term: April to November
